Here are some common FAQs, should you have any further questions about LilyJo's Cottage.

If your queries have not been answered by the FAQs below, please reach out to use through WhatsApp, email or Instagram.

How do I book?

To make a booking, please contact us on WhatsApp, stating your name, date(s) (date of arrival and date of departure) and number of guests. Please take note that LilyJo's Cottage sleeps 10+2 people.

What are the rates?

Please refer to our Instagram page for the latest rates. You may find a link to our Instagram page on our "Contact" page.

What is the earliest check-in time? How do I check in?

Check-in time is 3:00pm and check-out time is at 12:00pm. When you arrive, please mention your name and provide your booking information to our caretaker. The caretaker will guide you around the property and pass you one set of keys. At check-out time, please pass the keys to our caretaker.

Does LilyJo's Cottage have any F&B vendors on site?

There are no F&B vendors on site. Please bring your own food, beverages and snacks. Fret not, as there are plenty of restaurants and convenience shops a short drive away.

Is the site Wheelchair friendly? Are there facilities for babies?

While we welcome people of all ages and walks of life, the site is not wheelchair friendly. We also do not provide any baby cots or facilities for young children.

What items are provided for guests?

  • There are 5 bedrooms. 3 rooms are equipped with single-sized beds, 1 is equipped with a single-queen sized bed and 1 room with 2 sofa beds. Beddings, ceiling fans, and air-conditioning are provided in all bedrooms.

  • There are 3 bathrooms with hot-pressurised water shower, shampoo, soap, hair conditioner & toilet paper. Bath towels, hair dryers and hangers are provided.

  • In the kitchen, a toaster oven, fridge, electric kettle, induction stove, pots, pans, cutleries, plates and cups, dish washing liquid, knives and cutting board are provided for your convenience.

  • A mahjong table, yoga mats, smart TV and a Bluetooth-connected High-Fidelity sound system are available for guests use while staying at LilyJo's Cottage.

  • BBQ facility (A cleaning fee will be applied): 2 BBQ pits, BBQ wire mesh and charcoal.

  • WIFI is available in the property. Details will be shared upon check-in.

What items are NOT provided for guests?

  • Sweat towels, waterfall towels and mosquito repellent are not provided by LilyJo's Cottage.

  • There are no F&B stalls, so please bring your own food and drinks.

  • Mobile reception is poor, but high-speed WIFI is provided.

IMPORTANT: Can I bring my pets?

PLEASE note that while Lily Jo’s Cottage welcomes dogs, it is not designed for dogs, so we kindly ask owners to be mindful and take precautions regarding the open stairs and the deck area to prevent your pets from falling and hurting themselves.

Lily Jo’s Cottage cannot assume any responsibility whatsoever for the loss, pain, suffering, or death of pets.

​

For an additional fee of RM20 per dog and a refundable RM800 deposit, we allow a maximum of 8 well-behaved, small to medium sized breed house-dogs to stay.

 

Unfortunately, we do not accommodate cats or other animals.

​

The refundable RM800 deposit covers any unforeseen furkid-related damage to the property or furniture and additional cleaning, fumigation or disinfecting (for ticks and fleas) if necessary. This deposit will be returned to you after the end of 10 days of your last night in Lily Jo’s Cottage.

Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets, ensuring no disturbances like excessive barking or property damage. While indoors, pets must be supervised at all times.

Please note that Lily Jo’s Cottage is situated near waterfalls, streams and secondary forests, as such, there may be snakes, biting insects and possibly wild dogs about. So far, in our 25 years we have only encountered one small harmless tree snake on the road. We suggest that you leash your dogs while they are outside to avoid any unforeseen incidents.

 

At the time of print, the nearest veterinarian is Dr Chew, Klinik Veterinar & Surgeri PC about 10 km away in Rawang, and is not a 24 hour clinic.

Please bring your pet's own pet food, feeding bowls, beds, toilets, and any other necessities.

 

Please DO NOT use our crockery and cutlery for your pets under any circumstances.

A vacuum cleaner is available on-site for quick de-furring.

Beds are strictly off-limits due to potential fur allergies from other guests. 

While inside the house please ensure your pets wear a diaper for hygiene.

Non-fabric chairs in the house are suitable for pet cuddling, as they are easily cleaned.

At the time of your booking or enquiries, please indicate the number of pets you plan to bring and if your pets are free from ticks and fleas.
